January 7 - Day 7 of a painting a day.

Day 7.. January 7. Yesterday I was driving through Belgrade Lakes, and a parking lot that overlooks the lake happened to be empty, so I stopped and snapped a few quick shots. It was 10 degrees, burr, with the sun barely showing through.

5" x 7" watercolor and ink on Arches 140 wt paper.

Day 6 Painting a Day.
There is a group of trees along Route 2, going towards Farmington from New Sharon, Maine, that always catches my eye.  Depending on the season. Branches and lines reaching with a jagged profile or the horizontal line representing hillside behind or the sun's rays shining through. On this particular day the foreground seemed purple along with the back ground. Mystical.

January 2nd -

I had lots of running around, forgot my paper…so a visit to local AC Moore- Augusta, what a great place, if you travel with coupons! :) 50% + 15% woweee. & nowI'm ready for my third painting in the morning.

My Second painting is on my android, which happens to be charging. So it appears I need a process to do a painting, post it, blog about it, share it with everyone and place onhttp://lesliesaeta.blogspot.com/# too. Then prep for the next day. It's all so Exciting. Really is  something to look forward to.

January 2, 2015. It's back to the winter norm " cold " 30, here in Maine. I missed creating a painting yesterday, but created 2 and started on a 3rd one this morning. What a fun event.

2015...a new resolution

A painting a day... starts tomorrow, although the wave of wanting to hit me 2 days ago.

1 January I will be creating a painting a day and posting it here. All new and attempting to improve on my skills.
